  The meat and the dessert were good, as was the service. But the "triple cooked" chips were under cooked and it was expensive, even with a voucher.

  Excellent night last night. It was my boyfriend's 30th and this is his favourite restaurant. I secretly asked the waitress if she could arrange something special which she was more than happy to accommodate. The staff are so friendly and the food was super tasty. I had trout instead of steak and loved loved loved it! Can't wait to go back :) p.s. there was a couple next to us who gave our same waitress a hard time because he had apparently asked for his steak to be cooked differently but he ate the whole thing and the rest of his partner's. I think they got a round of free drinks as an apology (which I thought was over generous) then she went on to complain that her dessert "wasn't quite right" but didn't have a specific reason. I wonder if we'll see their review...
