  Went to see Hunter and the Bear at the ABC2. Cracking gig and a good venue. If you are on the raised area, watch out for the almost hidden step down to the seating at the front, can be quite dangerous in such a dark venue. Beer is mediocre and very over priced.

  Doesn't have the history of the Barras but is still a very credible music venue. Good sound, easy to get out of the crowd if you need to visit the toilet/bar, seating around the arena for if you arrive early, Wi-Fi available and friendly staff & security (Showsec).
  
  Gigs tickets are usually pretty cheap too.
  
  Only downside is the expensive drinks (£4.80 for a pint of Tuborg).
